Teacher of Geography
The Ripley Academy is an 11-18 school located in Derbyshire close to Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield and within easy reach of the Peak District. We are a member of the East Midlands Education Trust and work in close partnership with the other academies within the Trust including The West Bridgford School and John Flamsteed Community School. In February 2020, the school was judged to be an Ofsted ‘Good’ school in all areas.

We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Geography able to teach across the age and ability range Year 7 to Year 13.
We welcome applications from geographers who feel they have the ability, enthusiasm and commitment to enhance the lives of students at our Academy; someone who has a true passion for Geography as well as the drive and determination to make a significant, positive impact on our students ensuring all achieve their full potential. This post will be suitable for both experienced teachers or ECTs as support is available within the department.

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
