We are looking for a support officer in the Standards for Design, Development and Evaluation of General Qualifications team. This is a permanent position and whilst the job description is generic to roles at this level within the directorate, the focus of individual roles may differ. The focus of this post is outlined in the addendum to the job description.
This is an exciting, varied and fast-paced role. You would be responsible for coordinating and supporting the work of a busy team. You will engage with a range of staff across the organisation and externally to ensure our processes run effectively and efficiently so we can make sure the qualifications are valid and standards maintained.
You must be capable of using IT systems and databases to create management reports and manage competing priorities whilst maintaining attention to detail.

Ofqual works flexibly, with a hybrid office/home based working model. Employees will spend at least two to three days a week working from our office in Coventry. As Coventry will be your base location expenses for travel to the office will not be paid
Final panel interviews will be held face to face. Further details will be provided at invite to interview stage.
One of our resourcing colleagues will be on hand to answer any queries you may have throughout the process.
