Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for aService managerto join the Older Adults Services in Great Yarmouth and Waveney.

As Service Manager you will fully support the Service Lead and Deputy Service Director with the strategic and operational planning and delivery for our service. You will effectively manage the day-to-day operational/clinical issues arising and actively monitor performance, quality, safety and service development.

This is an exciting time to join the Older Adult's Services within NSFT. Helping to shape the Older Adults pathways in support of Community transformation and linking with peers and local system colleagues to work in partnership to provide the best care for our older adult population. You will be responsible for and leading on supporting the specialism by ensuring training and development needs are met for older adults staff groups

The Older People's Service is made up of 4 community based mental health teams across Gt Yarmouth and Waveney and Memory assessment and treatment. We also have one inpatient Ward based in Lowestoft

The ideal candidate should have:
  • Experience of working with Older People's services
  • Experience managing people
  • Experience working in partnership
  • Involvement in managing change/projects
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Good working knowledge of wider health and social care systems.
