Job Description

Based on a fulltime contract plus on average x10 sleep-ins per month (additional sleep-in allowance £6183 per annum) Basic salary is £25,376 pa (£12.20 ph)

Please Note: You will need to hold a full UK Driving Licence and have experience working in Residential Childcare in order to be considered for this role.

Within our therapeutic homes in Tiverton we look after children and young people aged 8 to 18 years who for various reasons cannot live with their family.

Residential Support Team Members care for the children and young people in a nurturing and safe environment, providing emotional support for them to flourish. Our homes vary in size but are all houses within the community that are family style, furnished, decorated and maintained to a good standard.

The skills you will be sharing with the team:

  • You will, ideally, have already achieved a OCF/NVQ Level 3 or Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent or be excited and driven of the prospect of gaining a recognised qualification with full financial and practical support from us.
  • You will consider yourself to me a resilient and reliable individual who is able to remain calm in situations that may be difficult and challenging
  • Our young people are cared for on a 24-hour basis and you will be required to work some sleep-ins in order to support this.
