Our MOJ client requires a Senior Administrative Officer to join the busy team on a temporary basis, for 6 months initially, with probable extension. £12.24 per hour pay rate, This is a hybrid role working 1 or 2 days per week based in the NPS Worle Office and 3 or 4 days from home
Our client is based in Weston Super Mare and offers a great opportunity to work within the Probation Service and gain experience within the Public Sector.
The role is temporary and expected to run for a minimum of 6 months with the possibility of being extended past this date, working Monday - Friday 0900 - 1700, totalling 37hrs. There may be a degree of flexibility with start and end times.
Duties may include but not be limited to:
" Supporting the Learning and Development Team
" Management and oversight of Regional Mailboxes
" Prioritising actions from the Regional Mailbox
" Point of contact for our Regional Learning and Development Team
" Wide range of administrative tasks using Outlook, Excel, MS Teams and other packages
" Development and implementation of business administration systems, databases and recording systems to support operational probation delivery.
" Preparation and collation of a range of documentation for a variety of purposes to support effective divisional, functional or cluster business activity and operational probation delivery
" Attend meetings and events
Ideal candidates will be confident, enjoy interacting with Probation Service Staff with professionalism. You will have excellent customer service and administration skills.
You must be able to demonstrate previous administration experience, and experience of providing a wide range of management support activities.
Our client requires the following skills
- Good strong admin experience
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, outlook and Teams
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Good prioritisation skills
- Ability to remain calm when there could be conflicting demands
- Excellent customer service skills
The pay rate is £12.24/hr and benefits include holiday pay and pension scheme.
Full training will be given.
You will be subject to Enhanced Vetting and will be referenced for the last 3 years.
