A well established Chartered Accountancy Practice in Barnsley, is seeking a well-rounded and experienced Client Accountant to join their team and manage a portfolio or SME's and OMB's. The successful Senior Accountant will join a small, close knit team and act as the bridge between the Partner and the Juniors, whilst helping maintain a portfolio of owner managed businesses. Ideal for an exisiting client manager or semi senior looking for a step up.

This mixed Accountancy Practice has an accounts and tax focus and currently does not have any audit clients. The successful Client Accountant will have mixed experienced and be looking to take on more management responsibilities within the multiple partner firm.

Client Accountant Position Overview

Leading a small team of Juniors
Accounts production and review
Submitting Company Accounts
Corporation tax production and review
Personal tax production and review
VAT
Some bookkeeping and accounts review
HMRC queries and liaising
Maintaining client relationships
Being involved in client meetings

Client Accountant Position Requirements

ACCA / ACA qualification or MAAT
QBE or other qualification encouraged to apply
Must have experience leading a team
Must have experience in a client facing role
Live a commutable distance from Harrow

Client Accountant Position Remuneration

Salary: £30,000 - £45,000
Working Hours: Full time role 9 - 5, 1 hr for lunch
