Job Description

Our company is seeking a personable and professional Security Guard to uphold our firm's security policy. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the workplace and ensuring that all individuals follow the rules. It is also the responsibility of our Security Guard to report the presence of security breaches to company administrators, and evacuate any areas that may have been compromised.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor a specific building or area and be aware of who comes and goes.
  • Deal with security breaches.
  • Provide and maintain first aid for injuries or medical emergencies.
  • Report security concerns to management, police, or fire department.
  • Stop criminal activity by following legal procedures as written in state and federal laws.
  • Answer phones and respond to complaints from customers.
  • Be present at the entrance to an office building.
  • Interact with the public.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12 per week

Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Blackpool, Lancashire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • security: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • SIA (preferred)

Work Location: In person
