Global Marketing Specialist - Real Estate and Architects

Working within the Electrification, Smart Buildings Division in UK, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the global marketing strategy of the defined industry segment(s); proactively managing the global marketing action plan to both achieve the key qualitative and quantitative targets in a profitable way, and to ensure customer satisfaction. In this role you will develop and implement a market-based strategy including direct, third party and project sales. Build relationship with key external influencers/key customers and leverage ABB strengths to capture new business opportunities. Key stakeholders are Division Global Sales and Marketing, EL Building Solutions team, Local Sales Managers, Local Building Segment referents and Product Marketing directors, Global Product Groups.

Your responsibilities

  • Drive the own business strategy, Marketing Plan, KPIs, and opportunity pipeline.
  • Create and manage initiatives and campaigns in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support Sales Units and Key Accounts with the target customers.
  • Ensure the value proposition for the main stakeholders is developed and well communicated (internally and externally).
  • Guide Sales Units with their business requests, plans, and activities.
  • Collaborate with other Channels, Segments, and Key Accounts to detect business opportunities and drive growth.
  • Lead the definition and development of events, marketing campaigns, and marketing tools content, analyzing and reporting the results.
  • Represent the voice of customers for their own business towards internal stakeholders like Global Product Groups and Communication, collect success stories and best practices, and share them internally.
  • Maintain a dashboard with owned metrics (ROI of marketing tools, customer journey, event management, and cost control.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and build relationships with potential clients, generate new, relevant leads, and nurture existing ones.
  • Manage and execute events targeting real estate and architects, including organizing event logistics, creating invitations, and following up on leads generated from these events.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the real estate and architecture industry.

Your background

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business Administration.
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing and business development, preferably in the real estate or architecture industry.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM software, e.g. Salesforce.com.
  • Availability to travel.
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written.
