Quantity Surveyor – Ashford, Kent

Are you a highly motivated Quantity Surveyor with a proven track record of hotel fit-out and residential experience across the construction industry seeking a new challenge and excellent opportunities?

Our client, a leading contactor in design and build of hotels with all leading international hotel chains, are looking to bring in a driven and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join an expanding team in Ashford, Kent for a well-established contractor with decades of experience.

On offer is the opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking for great career progression working in a dynamic team of Surveyors. The ideal candidate will already have a solid understanding of construction processes and materials, with proven experience in hotel and residential fitout projects, working in a similar role, independently, and as part of a team.

The role:

• Preparing and managing budgets, cost plans and cash flow projections for construction projects
• Conducting cost analysis and developing detailed cost estimates for project elements
• Liaising with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project deliverables are met within budget and on schedule

The person:

• BA (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or relevant field/Time-served
• At least 2-3 years of experience in Quantity Surveying within the construction industry
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
