QA Manager / Quality Assurance Manager

£40,000 - 50,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits

My client, a successful market leading FMCG manufacturing company, is looking to recruit an experienced QA Manager for their site based on the outskirts of Bristol. The successful QA Manager will have 3 direct reports and will report directly into the Head of Technical and will work alongside the QC manager.

The core function of the role will be to work with customers, suppliers, and other departments to maintain an effective HACCP system and develop TACCP and VACCP to address and minimise threats to food industry businesses.


QA Manager Duties and Responsibilities:

a.Team Leader of HACCP, TACCP and VACCP Systems
b.Continually improve Quality Management System
c.Manage and deliver BRC accreditation and site inspections.
d.Manage and conduct hygiene audits.
e.Manage and coordinate all audits.
f.Supplier assessment - both QA and raw materials
g.Responsible for the development transfer of raw materials to operations

Key skills required for the QA Manager role:

• Degree in Food Science or related subject
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience within food industry including involvement with Quality Systems
• Experience of managing BRC, ISO, FSSC, GFSI and controlled environmental standards.
• Customer Specifications Experience

A salary of between £40-50,000 DOE
