We have an awesome opportunity for someone to work with a leading edge print retailer. You will need to be a passionate team player who can work across our print and finishing departments. Working in a fast-paced customer facing environment and in some cases leading the print and finishing department you will ideally have experience of digital print i.e. Xerox printing. Experience in print finishing and design is also ideal, in particular, the ability to use a guillotine, folding, booklet making, binding and laminating machines, Photoshop. Training is also available. Above all we are looking for someone who has a keen eye for detail, loads of energy and enthusiasm to meet our customer print needs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO


  • Efficiently manage a busy Print Shop offering print & other services whilst maintaining a high level of customer service throughout.
  • To understand the commercial sales performance of the Print Shop and take necessary action to promote sales by detailing a Business Plan with ideas for growth & actions to be taken.
  • To ensure the Print Shop optimises all sales opportunities.
  • To confidently advise customers on the selection of print and finishing services available and offer appropriate recommendations and information based on individual requirements.
  • Have thorough product knowledge of all print and other services.
  • Drive sales for in-store print & outsourced print through Print+.
  • Understand technical details about printing e.g. bleed, printing methods, layouts & sizing etc.
  • Build long term relationships with customers and increase print sales
  • To manage and maintain Print Shop supplies and stock.
  • To comply with all company policies in the terms and conditions and operations manual.
  • Be commercially aware of competitor activity to ensure we stay ahead of the curve with our product offerings & services.
  • Investigate marketing opportunities which can then be passed on to the Business Development Manager or Head of Business Services to be explored further.
  • Network with local businesses to generate sales leads.
  • Train colleagues to have a better understanding of Print & other services.
  • Work with other local stores to raise their services knowledge and sales
  • Achieve KPIs as agreed by SOM and Services Team

  • At least 1 years experience in Print, Retail, related industry preferable
  • Good communication skills, needs to be assertive and self-motivated
  • Able to set own priorities
