Manufacturing Engineer - Build Line Support

Location: Barrow-in-Furness

What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide support to Build Line
  • Responsible for ensuring Manufacturing output meets relevant Safety and Quality requirements
  • Communicating with a variety of stakeholders
  • Responsible to deliver projects that will enable operations team to deliver efficiently
  • Analyse Manufacturing data to drive process improvement
  • Delivering to deadlines ensuring that Manufacturing processes are running efficiently

Your skills and experiences

  • Submarine build knowledge would be advantageous
  • Minimum of HNC level qualified or relevant trade background
  • Confident communicating at all levels
  • Working knowledge of MS package

The Manufacturing Engineering team

The of Manufacturing Engineering teams aim is to develop, implement and govern capable methods of manufacture, assembly, disassembly and repair (including method of verification) which can meet customer and business requirements for Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring compliance to design intent.
