EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be ensuring water treatment plants and processes are operating efficiently whilst maintaining quality outputs. The role is pivotal in assisting the Groundwater Treatment, Reservoir and Boosters team to meet tough local and function wide targets around quality, continuous supply, safety, and cost control.
This role will be based in and around Worksop.
As a member of the team, you will be responsible for the reactive and proactive maintenance of mechanical assets across the Worcestershire area. You’ll carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of mechanical assets including, pumps, valves, gas dosing assets, pipework and a range of chemical dosing pumps. A company van, laptop and fuel card will be provided along with all safety clothing, tools and specialist equipment required to carry out the role. Any additional technical training required will also be covered and great working hours too (Monday - Thursday 7.30am-3.30pm and Friday 7.30am-3pm).
Your key accountabilities in this role will be:
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
To be a success in this role, along with your experience we will be looking for you to have obtained a NVQ level 3 mechanical qualification. Having a good general knowledge of workshop practice would be advantageous.
