mrp are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join a reputable medical practice in Balham, London to assist them on a long-term locum basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and skilled nurse practitioner who is seeking flexibility, competitive remuneration, and the chance to be part of a supportive team. They already have the support of a Practice nurse to undertake smear and cytology but need a skilled nurse to assist them with minor illness management for up to 12 months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality primary care services to registered patients.
  • Assist the existing nursing team with managing acute and chronic illness patients.
  • Conduct patients’ routine appointments and follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and practice improvement activities

Requirements:

  • Full NMC registration with a right to work in the UK.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a registered nurse.
  • Knowledge of chronic diseases is desirable.
  • Commitment to providing patient-centered care
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
