This role is instrumental in assisting in the development of the supported housing service.
You will need to be a positive and enthusiastic person and will be responsible for ensuring good standards of cleanliness are maintained. An understanding of issues affecting older people would be helpful.
You will work in a locally based team, providing cleaning in the communal area’s and external surrounding vicinity of our Supported Housing Complexes.
You will also be responsible for ensuring all equipment used in your role meet required health and safety standards and assist in the ordering of appropriate stock. You will also be responsible for the general Health & Safety in and around our blocks. An understanding of safeguarding adults and working in a specialist service area with vulnerable adults would be preferable.
No formal qualifications are necessary as relevant training will be given. A willingness to work and participate in ongoing relevant training is essential and possibly assist with some social activities if required.
The position is a lone working post, however there will be occasions for work to be completed in other blocks or with other cleaners within the team or even cover other Team area’s across the City, if required.
A driving licence is preferable but not essential as you may be required to cover other Courts across the City. The post is subject to a Basic DBS check.
Basic IT skills are required.
