Job Description

WRc, a member of RSK Group, is looking for a Graduate Leakage Consultant to join their Technical Consulting team on a full time, permanent basis. This will be a hybrid role based in our office in Swindon, UK.

You will be responsible for working collaboratively on delivering innovative solutions to the water industry. You will be responsible for helping to deliver the business plan through active participation in activities across the whole Technical Consulting Team but mainly working closely within the leakage and water resources team, and the Director of Technical Consulting, to achieve our commercial targets. You will support the delivery of projects to UK and international clients and support the development of bids and proposals.

WRc is part of the RSK Group, a leading integrated environmental, engineering, and technical services business providing dynamic, multidisciplinary services to a wide range of sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of subject matter experts.
  • Identify and contribute to the development and delivery of projects in relation to primarily leakage management, but also to water resources, clean water networks and asset resilience.
  • Support the formulation of technical proposals and the development of project ideas.
  • Take account of the latest developments and innovations in the subject area, to help maintain WRc’s position as an industry leader.
  • Help to deliver projects to our clients from around the world.
  • To ensure maximum flexibility and to reflect the Company's evolving needs, you may be asked to perform additional tasks that may be reasonably expected within your level of capability without additional remuneration.

Qualifications and experience

  • Proficient user of Microsoft programmes, particularly MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
  • Degree in a science, engineering, maths, geography or similar, or comparable industry experience.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Data analysis/wrangling experience using R, python or SQL.
  • Experience of GIS primarily using ESRI.
  • Management experience working e.g. as a team leader.
