Assistant Management Accountant – full study support and a development plan

This role is commercially focused and you would be responsible for producing management accounts, business partnering, KPI’s and analysis

The Job

• Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts
• Working with commercial and operational teams to understand financial activity
• Overhead reporting and analysis
• P&L and balance sheet
• Support budgeting and financial reporting

• Preparation of weekly and monthly KPI dashboards and reporting of key variances to management, working closely with commercial and operational teams.

• Analysis of P&L variances and overhead reporting
• Assistance with annual external audit
• Other ad-hoc duties and cover for team members as required

The successful candidate will:

• AAT Qualified or Part Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Commercially astute
• Driven to improve processes and improved ways of working
• Driven and motivated
• Experience of intercompany transactions
• Strong communication skills – able to build relationships and work collaboratively
• Organised and able to work accurately
• Professional and engaging
