Medicine is the largest inpatient Division at NUH supporting over 35 wards and one of the largest Emergency Departments in the UK. We have a budget of £287 million and employ over 3000 staff. The Division is organised into three Directorates made up of ten specialties across Queens Medical Centre and Nottingham City Hospital sites including over 750 inpatient beds with associated clinics and a cardiac surgery unit.
We are a busy and fast-paced division with a large and diverse workforce whose health and well-being is a key priority. We respond flexibly to the day to day operational pressures that we face whilst adapting and developing new ways of working as the needs and expectations of our population change over time. Full details of the job and responsibilities of this role are in the job description. The role is to support the Divisional Leadership Team and the Divisional General Manager. The post holder will have operational responsibility for the Urgent and Emergency Care Directorate to ensure that all operational performance targets including waiting lists, finance, workforce and service improvement targets are achieved.

Salary: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
