Are you a Finance Manager/ Financial Controller with experience in the SME Financial Services sector seeking to move into practice?

Our client a leading Global Accountancy Practice is seeking to recruit a Senior Manager to join its Business Services team based in Bristol. To support our expanding client base, we require a Senior Manager to manage client relationships, our team and our business on a day-to-day basis. In this role you will be responsible for:

• Deliver exceptional client service, meeting our clients expectations with regard to delivery of period close in accordance with strict reporting deadlines and all other aspects of the project
• Build sustainable client relationships developing a clear understanding of requirements and develop highly motivated global delivery teams focused on exceptional client service
• Support Directors and Partners across GBS and BSO in expanding the business further, supporting delivery of strategy, while also creating a strong team identity and culture
• For a portfolio of key clients, manage client service and financial performance
• Develop network / build relationships cross stream and sector, in the UK and with other offices, clients and targets overseas.

Required:

• ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified
• Previous staff management experience
• Experience of accounting within the financial services sector with up to date knowledge, including within one or more of the asset management, banking and capital markets and insurance sectors

Desirable:

• Experience in managing ongoing operations using, or within, a shared service centre and / or experience project managing multi-country outsourced services.
• UK GAAP, IFRS and/or US GAAP reporting experience
