We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Assistant with a strong focus on data management to join our finance team and support our growth trajectory.

Position Overview:

As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial data management and reporting. Working closely with the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for handling and organising financial data, performing data analysis, and contributing to the financial decision-making process. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced e-commerce fulfillment environment and contribute to the financial success of our business.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Head of Finance to ensure accurate and timely financial data management and reporting
• Collect, organise, and maintain financial data in an orderly manner, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights, supporting informed decision-making by the finance team
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Conduct regular reconciliations of financial data, including bank statements, invoices, and payments, to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Assist with the preparation of financial presentations for senior management and stakeholders

Qualifications:

• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred but not essential
• Previous experience in a finance or accounting role, with a focus on data management and analysis
• Strong proficiency in financial data management and reporting systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide insights
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in working with financial data
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications
• Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles and practices
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
