An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational and highly effective teacher to lead our thriving, ambitious English Faculty. We are seeking a passionate and committed individual to build on current success and drive forward our talented team of English teachers.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a strong track record of departmental or whole-school leadership, as well as being an outstanding English practitioner with the knowledge and ability to teach across the age and ability range. You will need to be a strategic thinker, a first class communicator and highly skilled at getting the best from your colleagues. English is fundamental to the overall success of our school and the successful candidate must be committed to both the ideals and the practicalities of delivering the very best English learning experiences to all of our students.
The English department currently comprises five full time and three part time teachers. Alongside Head of Faculty, there is a Second in Faculty position. There is a wealth and variety of experience within the team, as well as two colleagues newer to the profession.
