Finance Manager – immediate start required (part-time 3 days per week, flexible)
TECS Group is a specialist provider of technology-led building compliance services across the UK. We have offices in Central London, West Midlands and Manchester and work for customers in the public and private sectors.
We are currently seeking a Sales Ledger Clerk/ Credit Controller to join our growing team. You will work closely with the company’s Co-CEO’s on our offices in Central London. The role is varied and represents an opportunity to work closely with the founders with excellent career progression prospects for the right candidate as we develop the Group’s finance function.

Annual salary of £24,000 - £26,000 per annum pro-rated based on 3 days, depending on experience plus benefits and performance bonus. Please note the role is initially part-time based on 3 days per week and we are happy to be flexible on which days these are.
Hours of work:
This is a part-time role, 24 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role will be based from our London office. We also offer flexible working arrangements with the ability to work-from-home on an agreed basis.

Reporting:
You will report directly to the Co-CEO’s and be expected to work closely with the three Heads of Department.
Main duties and responsibilities:
This role will include a variety of tasks across the sales ledger and credit control functions including (but not limited to) the following:
Ensuring all sales invoices are raised in a timely manner and queries responded to
Liaison with heads of department to ensure sales invoices are raised at agreed monthly intervals
Management of debtors ledger and ensuring debts are collected in a timely way (c.75 customer accounts in total)
Sending statements of account to customers at agreed frequencies
Setting up new customer accounts and applying credit limits
Build relationships with customers finance teams to assist with timely credit control
Qualifications and Experience:
Prior experience in a similar role (ideally within an SME) with 2 years min experience
Proficient with using Xero and other accounting tools
Experience of using Salesforce (desired but not essential)
A good team player who thrives in working as part of close-knit team
Experience with operating invoice discounting facilities (desired but not essential)
Good English skills both written and oral
High level of attention to detail
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and MS Excel
