Job Description
The communications team at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust (UHDB) are looking for a strategic, motivated and bright communications professional to join them for a career opportunity for up to 12-months.
The Trust is on a journey to deliver exceptional care to a local population of more than a million people across five hospital sites. As a communications team we have an important role to play in that journey - making sure our 14,000 staff have the information they need to do their jobs well, and to promote and protect the reputation of the Trust.
This post holder is part of the communications leadership team, and supports our ambitions by leading high-quality content, including: patient, staff and corporate publication; campaigns and planning; Trust website and intranet; social media management; events; design; media handling; and stakeholder advice and support.
In this role you'll provide dedicated communications support to UHDB, based largely at Royal Derby Hospital, working across all functions including media, digital communications, internal communications and brand to help deliver the team's communications plans and ambitions for the year ahead.
You'll be managed by the head of communications, and work closely with the hospital's executive team too.
