• Setting up, programming and operating the CNC machinery
• Ensuring all equipment and machinery is running smoothly and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Compliance with all quality policies, specifications and instructions
• Using gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements of finished goods
• Understanding specifications of the task at hand and the desired result

• Must be fully trained in operation of CNC, manual lathes, milling machines and others
• Have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Online programming and editing essential (Fanuc, Siemens and XYZ controls)
• Apprentice trained preferred but qualified by experience considered
• FLT licence beneficial
