About the Role

Are you passionate about food and looking to train and develop as a Chef? Maybe you are new to the industry or looking to start your career in hospitality? Why not consider joining our team as part of our 'Clubroom Chef' Apprenticeship Programme? This programme is open to all candidates aged 18-64, yes that's right, any age is the right age for an apprenticeship!

Whilst it can get a little hot in the kitchen, it is very rare that you will be required to work split shifts and most of our kitchens are closed by 10pm!

We are truly excited to be able to offer you the chance to join our Clubroom kitchen teams with a structured development programme to train to become a Chef! This comprehensive work-based programme to help you develop your skills, during the programme you will learn a range of skills from Food Hygiene to Kitchen operating standards, Menu specification, portion control & GP, allergen requirements and legislation, communication, and of course nutrition!

On Completion of the programme, you will receive a level 2 production chef apprenticeship.

The Clubroom Chef programme will take 12 to 14 months to complete, and learning will be delivered through a combination of face-to-face sessions, remote smart classroom, and e-learning modules.

You will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager and play your part for ensuring the kitchen operates within its agreed budgets and that food hygiene and health and safety compliance is always maintained.

You should have a positive attitude, oodles of enthusiasm and be prepared to be hands on and to get stuck in with the team.
