Business Development Manager

Reports to: Head of Business Development

Location: Belfast

Salary: Negotiable, depends on experience

Work Pattern: Monday-Friday 09:00-17:30, Hybrid working model.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a successful sales professional with a track record of proactively generating new business to advance their career with an innovative and creative company. The successful appointee will be a target-driven self-starter with a track record of achieving sales targets and developing new routes to market. They will be self-motivating but capable of working in a team when necessary.


Responsibilities

  • Your primary responsibility will be to secure new customers onto the Selazar platform.
  • You’ll be responsible for the full sales cycle including prospecting, generating leads and promoting our business through emails, calls, video meetings and face to face interactions.
  • You’ll be adept at using the company CRM system to manage your target accounts and pipeline.
  • Collaborate with internal business functions to ensure successful, consistent delivery of our customer onboarding process.
  • Prepare and submit formal business proposals to target customers.
  • Quickly establish rapport and credibility with stakeholders and influencers within your target customers.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports on sales forecast, pipeline and activity.

About You

Knowledge and abilities

  • Demonstrable success in a Sales/Business Development Manager role.
  • Proven ability in leading and executing significant new business campaigns.
  • Experience using a CRM system to manage your pipeline.
  • Experience in influencing, persuading and negotiating with clients across all levels of an organisation.
  • Experience of working to and delivering sales targets.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to produce presentations, proposals documents etc.
  • Full, driving licence (UK)
