Bar & Waiting Staff Job Description

Riverside Bar & Restaurant Stratford is an outstanding, iconic, architectural structure overlooking the River Avon. We are situated just a mile from Stratford-upon-Avon's Town Centre and have a variety of visitors as well as residents coming to the building.

Not only do we provide food and beverages, we also have venue space to suit any event. This can range from Wedding Ceremonies and Receptions, to Private Family Parties, Wedding, Parties and Corporate Conferences.

Riverside has a strong core of experienced staff, however, we are very open minded to bringing new members to our growing team.

Currently there is the opportunity to join our exciting team as a Team Member.

Full-time, part-time, seasonal opportunities are available.

The duties in this role as a Team Member include:

• Serving all customers.
• Being responsible for taking orders and making recommendations for guests.
• Prompt service and accurate use of Epos and PDQs.
• Pride in maintaining standards of cleanliness and food/drink safety.
• Setting up and serving at events.

Our ideal candidate for the role must be able to do the following -

• Welcome guests and residents in a polite and friendly manner.
• To be multi-functional where you can work in all areas of the venue such as working in the Bar, being in the Restaurant and delivering excellent service in a Conference or Event.
• During the busy periods of service, having the ability to handle pressure.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Ability to take customer orders, consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service and positive attitude.
• Previous Food & Beverage experience within the Hospitality Industry and knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health and Safety Regulations desirable but not essential.
