Job Title: Software Asset Management Specialist

Location: Portsmouth, or any other UK Maritime site. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Circa £45,000 depending on experience

What you’ll be doing:

• Working with Partner Teams on Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+) annual audit/accreditation tasks.

• Working with Partner Teams to support deployment of new W10 Feature Updates (FUs) across both primary user domains.

• Support Application Rationalisation activities to ensure existing toolsets are utilised wherever possible negating the need for new applications.

• Collaborate with software vendors (internal & external) to deliver a secure and compliant network

• Tools Register Creation/Management - to allow effective management of applications on the estate

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• Experience with Windows 10/11 OS

• Application/software packaging/SCCM (System Centre Configuration Manager) experience

• Experience of OS and application Patching

• Experience of software compliancy standards - Cyber Essentials

Desirable:

• Experience of PC Desktop technologies and PC hardware architecture

• Windows Server 2016/2019 experience

The Software Compliancy team:

You'll be joining a small, dynamic team focused on the ongoing compliance with CE+ on our software estate. The team sits within a larger Service and Operations team at the hub of IT delivery to Maritime Services.
