The Client
Our Client, established more than 30 years ago, are a highly established Principal Contractor working across sectors from Civil Engineering to Building, Land Remediation and Restoration. Due to demand, they are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Administrator to work in their busy office in Buckinghamshire.
Role
To provide a professional and efficient service to the finance function, by always paying attention to detail and with accuracy being paramount on data entry. You will be providing administration assistance to the Labour & Subcontract team, building relationships with other team members, whilst ensuring that all relevant Company Group & Sector Specific Procedures and Policies are met
Duties - Not Exhaustive
Request & update insurances for the department using Mail Merge and ensure the suppliers provide
adequate cover and be able to challenge if required
Download & save invoices & timesheets from the Labour system to support the Labour team
Assist with the shared email box for the Subcontract team and action accordingly
Assist with requesting statements and help with statement reconciliations
Assist with answering telephone calls and distribute accordingly
Filing of invoices and other paperwork
General Administration and Ad Hoc duties as requested by your line manager
Requirements
Must have previous experience as an Accounts Administrator
Experience within the Construction sector would be a distinct advantage but not essential
Must have excellent IT skills and confident with mail merges
Must have excellent attention to detail with data input
Must be able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and assist others in the team so that department deadlines are met
Must be willing to learn new tasks i.e., loading of invoices/invoice queries
Have an understanding or willingness to learn about CIS and VAT

Evidence of achievement of Foundation competencies in line with GMC standards/Good Medical Practice (or equivalent). Part Time - 8 hours per week (0.2 FTE).
