Responsibilities: \n - Adhere to Terex safety policies and procedures
\n - Have ability to operate various types of welding machines on various materials: Short arc, stick, FCAW on X1050, T-1, etc
\n - Operate stationary and/or portable grinders and pneumatic chipping hammers to remove excess metal, oxidation and foreign matter from weldments and structures
\n - Operate material handling equipment to move parts and materials, as needed
\n - Read and interpret blueprints. Capable of working from drawings, sketches, templates, temporary stop gauging devices and patterns, as well as set up jigs and fixtures. Access computer terminals
\n - Comply with TEREX Utilities quality standards through error prevention and by meeting such requirements with zero defects
\n - Follow and promote The Terex Way Values
\n - Compliance with all applicable occupational health and safety required
\n - Perform other functions as needed

Basic Qualifications: \n - High school diploma and/or equivalent experience
\n - 0-2 years of manufacturing experience
\n - Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and 40-100 lbs. with assistance of others or lifting equipment provided
\n
\n
Preferred Qualifications: \n - Possess good mechanical aptitude
\n - Capable of using most hand tools
\n - Understand and follow verbal and written instructions
\n - Recognize potential safety hazards and take appropriate actions to minimize risks
\n - Ability to read and understand blueprints, order acknowledgement, engineering drawings and written instruction
\n - Function as a team member and contribute to group goals while maintaining a positive attitude
\n - Ability to safely and efficiently operate welding equipment, forklifts and overhead cranes
\n - Atmospheric exposure to dust, and vapors
\n - Certain personal protective equipment is required

The salary range for this position is $22.50 to $23.75 per hour. All eligible Team Members will be offered health insurance (medical, dental, vision, Rx), life insurance, accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D), short-term and long-term disability, extended leave options, paid time off, company holidays, 401k matching, employee stock purchase plan, legal assistance, wellness programs, tuition reimbursement and discount programs.
**$3,000 Sign on Bonus:
$1500 paid at 90 days, $1500 paid at 180 days. Must be an active employee at time of payout to collect the bonus. Employee will be responsible for repaying the bonus if you leave within 1 year of the final bonus payout.
