What to Expect as Part of the Order Selection Team: This fast-paced role requires you to perform as an **industrial athlete**, responsible for accurately and efficiently pulling customer orders within the warehouse. Your duties will include strategic order picking and attention to detail while palletizing orders for correct placement. You'll operate motorized equipment such as Electric Pallet Jacks, ensuring safe and precise movement of products within the warehouse. Job Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and inspect double electric pallet jacks.
• Identify pick locations and accurately select a variety of food and beverage cases, stacking them onto pallets.
• Maintain performance standards for speed and accuracy in order selection.
• Safely prepare items for shipment, including shrink-wrapping and labeling.
• Immediately report any safety concerns to a supervisor and help maintain a clean work area.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Job Requirements:

• Previous warehouse/operations experience is preferred but not required.
• Must meet established minimum selection rate standards.
• Ability to follow selection procedures and verbal instructions.
• Understanding of warehouse procedures for a holistic view of operations.
• Good judgment is necessary, especially during periods of limited supervision.

Physical Environment/Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and to frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and turn.
• Exposure to temperatures ranging from -20 to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Perishable Operations, and 37 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Grocery Operations.
• Requires repetitive arm, wrist, and hand movements, including working overhead.
• Manual dexterity, coordination, and balance are crucial for this role.
• Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

• This position requires working at one of our UNFI locations, such as a distribution center or office.
