Job Description & RequirementsNights: 3x12-hour shifts
\tHours: 19:00 – 07:00
\tWeekends: Minimum every other weekend
\tSchedule: Must be flexible; no block scheduling permitted
\tSurgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)
\tFloating required to MICU as needed
\tLarge 500 bed teaching hospital
\tLevel 1 Trauma Center
\tTypical Patient Population Includes:
Post-cardiac surgery
\tVascular patients
\tTrauma (Level 1)
\tGeneral surgery
\tNeurosurgery
\tMICU overflow
\tHemodynamic device experience required
RequirementsExperience:
\tMinimum 2 years recent SICU experience
\t\tPrior travel experience required
\t\tExperience in a large (500 bed) teaching facility required
\t\tCertifications (AHA):
\tBLS
\t\tACLS
\t\tNIHSS ( required prior to start )
\t\tCCRN preferred
\t\tEMR:
\tEPIC experience within the past 2 years – REQUIRED & NON-NEGOTIABLE
\t\tScrubs: Any solid color
\tFloating: Required (MICU as needed)
\tOrientation:
\tBi-weekly on Mondays
\t\tNext available orientation: 1/26
\t\tIVS: Monday–Sunday (IVS to OFFER)
\tDistance Rule:
\tDistance is measured by straight-line radius , not driving distance
\t\tEmployment History:
\tAll gaps over 90 days must be explained
\t\tComplete work history required (facility type, bed count, EMR, etc.)
