Job Description & Requirements Title: Physical Therapist – Outpatient
Location: Rio Rico, AZ
Duration:13-week contract
Shift: Day shift, 5x8s (08:00 – 16:30)
Evaluate and treat physical therapy patients based on physician referral or direct access
\tDevelop, implement, and supervise plans of care for patients
\tSupervise Physical Therapy Assistants and PT technicians according to PT plan of care
\tEvaluate and treat injured workers; apply ACOMP systems for return-to-work plans
\tUtilize facility modalities and exercise equipment
\tPerform post-offer testing (e.g., WorkSTEPS, APET)
\tConduct Work Hardening Evaluations and Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs)
\tPerform ergonomic evaluations and job analyses
\tOversee clinic organizational and cleaning tasks, directing PT technicians
\tManage patient scheduling, referrals, and phone communications
\tApply billing codes accurately for various payer types
\tUpdate rehab nurses weekly regarding patient progress
\tMaintain communication with referring physicians through timely evaluation and progress notes
\tEnsure all state licensure requirements are current and in good standing
\tMaintain professional conduct with patients, providers, case managers, insurers, and industry contacts
\tAssist in marketing, business development, and educational programs
\tParticipate in community outreach representing the organization
\tPerform additional tasks as needed for clinic operations
\tRequired Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience
\tActive state Physical Therapy license in good standing
\tBLS certification
\tExperience with charting systems
