We're hiring a Senior Internal Auditor to play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records, compliance with regulations, and effectiveness of internal controls. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to our organization’s financial integrity and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Audits: Perform detailed audits of financial statements, records, and transactions to verify accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), or other relevant standards.
• Assess Internal Controls: Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, SOX testing, risk management processes, and governance practices to prevent fraud and errors.
• Identify Discrepancies: Detect and investigate irregularities, errors, or potential fraud in financial records.
• Evaluate internal controls and risk management processes to identify weaknesses and recommend improvements.
• Identify and investigate discrepancies, errors, or potential fraud in financial data.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings and recommendations to management.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
• Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to implement audit recommendations and enhance processes.
• Stay current on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform risk assessments and propose strategies to mitigate financial and operational risks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 5-10 years of experience in auditing, accounting, SOX, or a related role.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory frameworks.
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.
