*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to debt litigation, contract law, and landlord/tenant . This role requires excellent legal research capabilities, and the ability to draft/review legal documents effectively. The Attorney will be responsible for providing high-quality legal services to our clients while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

*Responsibilities*

* Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy development.
* Draft legal documents, including discovery, interrogatories, motions, and briefs with precision and clarity.
* Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in litigation cases while striving for favorable outcomes.
* Represent clients in court proceedings and administrative hearings as necessary.
* Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting practice areas to provide informed counsel.
* Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff within the firm to ensure comprehensive client service.
* Maintain organized case files and documentation for effective case management.

*Experience*

* Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
* Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
* Proven experience in litigation and legal drafting.
* Strong research skills with proficiency in using legal research databases like LexisNexis and Westlaw.
* Excellent writing skills with a focus on clarity and attention to detail in all written communications.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $63,098.32 - $75,989.38 per year

Expected hours: 15 25 per week
