Founding AI Engineer (Clinical Workflow Transformation)

Company: Agentic Studios Location: Albuquerque, NM

Work Arrangement: On-site 5 days a week

Our client, Agentic Studios , is a mission-driven AI startup focused on radically reinventing healthcare delivery. They are building a venture that tackles complex clinical challenges by re-engineering workflows using state-of-the-art AI. The company has secured $2 million in funding and is seeking builders driven by the mission to make a significant impact on patient and clinician experiences.

They are looking for a Founding AI Engineer who is ready to be a co-founder, aligning long-term success with meaningful equity in this high-impact venture. This is a unique opportunity for an engineer to lead the integration of AI capabilities directly into clinical practice.

• Re-engineer Clinical Workflows: Collaborate closely with clinicians and designers to identify inefficiencies and creatively redesign clinical processes using state-of-the-art AI capabilities.
• Clinical Content Integration: Delve into clinical content, guidelines, and medical research to extract opportunities for AI-driven automation.
• AI Deployment & Optimization: Integrate and deploy LLMs and other AI tools to automate clinical logic, ensuring they transform patient and clinician experiences.
• Systems Performance: Monitor and optimize the performance, latency, and cost-efficiency of AI and backend systems.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure the security, privacy, and integrity of sensitive user data, adhering strictly to HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
• Process Mapping: Lead workflow mapping sessions, producing clear, detailed process maps, decision trees, and content models.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in AI engineering , building and shipping products.
• A curious, creative, and disciplined problem-solver eager to reinvent healthcare delivery.
• Must be a builder at heart with a deep motivation to tackle complex clinical challenges.
• Excited by the opportunity to be a co-founder with a strong emphasis on equity and a mission-first drive.

Benefits

• Salary: $150K (Cash compensation will be competitive but is secondary to equity until the first VC funding round is secured, after which it will be adjusted).
• Equity: 3% - 5% in this high-impact venture.
• Visa Sponsorship: TN visas are available ; H1B transfers will be considered for exceptional candidates.
• Relocation Support: Full coverage of relocation expenses to Albuquerque, NM.
