Experienced Veterinary Assistant – Where General Practice Meets Urgent Care Excellence at River Run Animal Hospital

???? Schedule: Full-Time | 10-hour shifts | Must be available some weekends
???? Pay Range: $17–$20/hour based on experience

We’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant ready to step into a dynamic, fast-paced environment where every day brings something new to learn.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 1–2 years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant

• Strong skills in restraint, vaccine protocols, obtaining patient history, and client communication

• A calm, steady presence under pressure and a passion for learning

• Reliability and accountability : you show up ready to help the team succeed

• The flexibility to work weekends (our hospital runs 7 days a week!)

Your Role in the Pack:

• Assist with patient care across GP and urgent care cases

• Support doctors with exams, treatments, vaccines, and diagnostics

• Communicate clearly with clients, collecting accurate patient information and ensuring great experiences

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment

• Jump in where needed and help keep the day flowing smoothly
