Director of Business Development
Starting Salary: $120K

No Travel Required

Position Overview:
We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Business Development Director to lead growth initiatives, expand market reach, and cultivate strong client relationships. This leadership role involves identifying new business opportunities, building key partnerships, and driving revenue expansion across all service areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute business development strategies to meet company growth objectives.
• Identify and pursue new opportunities in both public and private sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and government entities.
• Lead proposal development, contract negotiations, and client presentations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align business development efforts with market needs.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings.
• Oversee the creation of marketing materials and client outreach strategies.
• Track business development metrics and report on progress and performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client relations within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry.
• Demonstrated success in securing new business and driving revenue growth.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong ability to foster and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Experience in proposal writing, contract negotiation, and business strategy development.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, trends, and competitive market dynamics.
• Self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
