The Associate Scientist or Scientist will conduct and coordinate complex laboratory research focused on genome editing strategies for treating hematological diseases, particularly sickle cell disease. The role involves performing advanced molecular and cellular techniques, leading experiments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to advance therapeutic development from preclinical studies to clinical trial readiness. Candidates are expected to have substantial research experience and relevant scientific education in a laboratory setting within a medical research environment.
Job Description The Scientist performs and/or coordinates a wide range of laboratory research procedures and conducts a spectrum of complex support tasks and projects determined by the field and scope of the particular research study.
